The 39th Annual Federal & State Tax Institutes will take place on the following dates:
- November 12, 2013 - Easton, MD/The Milestone
- November 13, 2013 - Frederick, MD/Holiday Inn
- November 19, 2013 - Greenbelt, MD/Martin's Crosswinds
- November 22, 2013 - Baltimore, MD/Martin's West
Sponsored by the IRS, the Comptroller of Maryland and the Maryland Society of Accountants, the Tax Institutes consist of a series of workshops explaining new developments in federal and state tax law and other reporting requirements for tax preparers and practitioners.

Registration for the 2013 Federal & State Tax Institutes begins September 1st.
Please fill in the registration form online, print it and mail it to us with your payment. We do not accept registrations by phone or by e-mail. Payment must accompany your registration. We do not accept credit or debit cards for payment.
When filling out the registration form, please write legibly or use the fill-in feature provided. Again this year we will be sending your binder material by e-mail to the e-mail address you provide on your registration form.
Printed material will be provided at an additional cost of $25. Please make sure you indicate on your registration form if you would like to purchase the binder.
Again this year you will be asked for your PTIN number when you pick up your badge. Your PTIN number and program information is needed so that you will get credit for attending the Institutes.

There will be a total of 8 credits given for attending the Institutes. Details about how they will be broken down will be forthcoming.
Full-time attendance at all sessions is required to earn the maximum credits allowed.
- CPAs can earn a maximum of eight (8) credits
- Enrolled Agents can earn a maximum of four (4) credits
- Maryland Individual Tax Preparers can earn a maximum of six (6) credits
NOTE: CPAs, attorneys, and others licensed by state boards/organizations should check with their respective boards/organizations to determine if these credits apply toward their continuing education requirements.
